Vaginal rejuvenation

Vaginal rejuvenation is the repair the vaginal canal and opening of the vagina, which aims to enhance the sexual function. Vaginal relaxation occurring  after vaginal delivery is not a new concept. Various pathophysiologic studies have  demonstarate  marked changes  to levator muscles, nerves and pelvic support after vaginal delivery. The amount of damage during vaginal delivery  correlates with sexual function.  At six months postpartum, women with an intact perineum  are less likely to experience sexual dysfunction than those with perineal lacerations.
